We are thrilled to announce that our pregnancy diaries are back! And we have joined up with an old friend to share the news of her second pregnancy. Jo writes over at Jo’s Nursery and Jo’s Kitchen. Today she’s bringing you up to date with her 2nd pregnancy!
Hi, my name is Jo and I am 15 weeks pregnant with my second child. You may remember me from my previous pregnancy diary a couple of years ago. My son Thomas is now nearly 21 months old. I live in the West Midlands with my husband Stuart and Thomas. My blog is Jo’s Nursery where I blog about my pregnancy and parenting adventures. I also have a food blog called Jo’s Kitchen where I post about family friendly recipes and reviews.
Being pregnant this time is completely different to my pregnancy with Thomas. I suffered with symptoms a lot earlier on and knew I was pregnant before I even took the test. Fatigue and nausea have been my worst enemy over the last the three months. Fortunately, the nausea has mostly passed now however I still feel exhausted most of the time. This pregnancy I have been craving sweet things like cake and chocolate, while with Thomas it was all salty and savoury things, like McDonalds. We have just moved Thomas into a big boy bed as it has been hurting my back getting him in and out of the cot. Thomas knows he is going to be a big brother to ‘Baba’ and has been enjoying blowing raspberries on my bump.
I am looking forward to working Bras 4 Mums again this pregnancy. I loved their bras and advice last time and they were the first bras I put back once I found out I was pregnant yet. I hope you enjoy reading my pregnancy diary and I will be back with another update soon.
We can’t wait for the next update! How did your second pregnancy differ from your first?
