Eve from Baba + Boo has a little competition for you on today’s advent box. Eve has just launched her new collection and it’s already getting rave reviews. She shares the inspiration behind her brand.

Baba and boo miss rabbit nappy and top
Fairytale collection

I always loved co-ordinating my little Boo’s outfits with her nappies, so that inspired me to design a line of clothing to match the actual nappies. Our Enchanted Woodland collection is inspired by love of autumn and also my favourite childhood books by Enid Blyton. The Vintage Toy collection range was inspired by our brilliant customers. Over the past couple of years, I’ve always ask what prints they would like to see and top of the list by far is always russian dolls and robots. So that is what we did. And we built our collection around that.

The design process started with my niece Ella and my son Seth helping to draw the characters. I always say it is a family run business, sometimes we rope in the younger members. Ella has such a spark for design….I’ve got her earmarked for a role in Baba+Boo when she’s older.

We have the chance for you to win any nappy from the Baba + Boo range. Just tell us what your favourite Christmas tradition is below. Closing date midnight Sunday 16th December for entering

My favourite tradition is getting everything ready on Christmas Eve. We put out a mince pie and glass of something warming for Father Christmas and a couple of carrots for his reindeer. Then we sprinkle some sparkly oats on the garden so that the reindeer know where to land. Then once the girls are in bed, hubby and I get all the presents ready (including some labelled as from Father Christmas), take a bite out of the carrots, eat the mince pie, leave some crumbs on the plate and drink the drink up. All part of the magic for the girls when they get up on Christmas Day. ;o)
